Dishonoured can be completed in 12 hours

Bethesda and Arkane Studios have estimated that experienced Dishonoured players could complete the game in as little as 12 hours!

The information came from Bethesda and Arkane Studios from a Q&A Session answering questions about the upcoming steampunk stealth action game over at the Bethblog. Arkane Studio has estimated the game could be completed in 12 hours.

The co-creative directors of Dishonoured, Harvey Smith and Raphael Colantonio, said in the Q&A “very direct players will probably get through the game in 12 or 14 hours.”

However Dishonoured is a vast open world game which will have plenty to explore and will allow players to take on side missions. And in the Q&A Harvey Smith and Raphael Colantonio say that “explorers who eavesdrop a lot will take twice as long [to complete Dishonored].”

A 12 hour long campaign will be good for any action game, however if you had not guessed the extra length in the game will be doing everything that is possible in the title.

Dishonoured will be hitting retail shelves October 12th 2012.
