Leaked Halo 4 Multiplayer Gameplayer from a VHS?

We know the world simply cannot wait for Halo 4 to hit shelves this November and get to grips playing on the multiplayer, however over the weekend an eight minute video appeared showing what seems to be Halo 4′s multiplayer.

The footage is shot from a handheld camera shaking every second and depicts a VHS (yes, a VHS) recording running on a CRT television showing off the gameplay. What I would like to say and warn to you all is that for some reason they have plastered some of the worst hip-hop and rap music over the top of the video and it is simply terrible and the video quality is rather dire despite saying it’s in HD (it really isn’t).

If you can ignore the music and the shoddy camera work then you can view some rather interesting Halo 4 multiplayer gameplay.

EDIT: The original video is no longer available on YouTube following a copyright claim by Microsoft Corporation, an action which could be considered to lend credence to the authenticity of the footage. Inevitably the video has already been reposted by other YouTube users, including a cleaned-up version here.
