New LittleBigPlanet Karting gameplay trailer

We have today the new trailer for PS3 exclusive LittleBigPlanet Karting, as well as some information about the game from Design Director of United Front Games, William Ho.

The game is essentially a kart racing game, like Modnation Racers or the Mario Kart series, but it will also include the designs and level creator modes from LittleBigPlanet. This means anyone who’s familiar with creating their own levels on LittleBigPlanet 2 will be right at home with LittleBigPlanet Karting.

It also will borrow some of the create modes from Modnation Racers, but will also expand and enhance them with more game modes including: battle mode, score attack mode, treasure hunt mode and a story mode.

This is looking like its going to be a very fun game and anyone who’s a fan of either kart racing games or LittleBigPlanet will have to get this game. With the release estimated as late 2012, this will probably be released in time for Christmas. Let us know what you think of LittleBigPlanet Karting in the comments below.
