Pokemon Black & White 2 First Trailer

Well its here again! Nintendo announced not so long ago that they had a new Pokemon game coming out this year on (surprisingly) the DS and not their new system, the 3DS.

The other surprise is the game isn’t a new colour in the title (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, etc.) but it is the sequel to Pokemon Black and White. A legitimate sequel unsurprisingly titled: Pokemon Black and White 2.

Each title will be sold separately like all the previous Pokemon games and will feature new characters, new gym leaders, new rivals and two new legendary Pokemon, plus new Pokemon which in fact are older Pokemon from the previous games that didn’t appear in the predecessor. The story is set in Unova, the location of the previous game and will be set two years after the events of the first. The environment has taken a drastic change, with many areas covered in ice.

Over the weekend the Japanese Pokemon site revealed the first trailer (above) showing off the gameplay. However if you have played one Pokemon game then you have played them all.

The game is available in Japan this June 2012, and then America and Europe this Autumn 2012.

And if you are wondering, why are these guys mentioning Pokemon games? Because they are awesome and probably one of the best reasons to own a Nintendo Portable device. And if you think that I am wrong and the games suck, then you obviously never had a childhood.
