This years E3 is only 4 weeks and 4 days away and Nintendo have revealled some of the information about what they are going to discuss at E3, in particular the final showcase for the Wii U hardware and also reveal the systems software line-up for 2012.

However, what Nintendo will not be revealling is the Wii U’s release date.

The news has come from Nintendos Financial Meeting, here is what they had to say about their upcoming system.

“We will showcase the final format, and discuss the details and the software lineup for this year at E3 2012, which will be held in Los Angeles in the United States in June this year.

Also, in the week after the E3 show, we would like to organize an opportunity where we can showcase the same to the Japanese wholesalers and financial analysts who cannot attend the E3 show. The people in our appropriate sections will let you know as soon as we have settled on further details.

Please also be advised that, as we did for previous platforms that were launched in the year-end sales season, we will announce the launch date and price in each market sometime after E3.”

They then went on to talk about their digital download service for the Wii U which we launch on the same day the system is released.

“For the Wii U, we will start the digital download sales of packaged software that I just discussed, so our consumers can choose either the packaged version or the digital download version of the same software from day one of the Wii U’s launch.”

For any more information it seems about the Wii U we will have to wait till E3, but if any more news breaks we will keep you updated.
