Resident Evil 6 to Feature Agent Hunt Mode UPDATE: Agent Hunt Trailer

Resident Evil is just two months away from being released world wide on October 2nd and the news coming out from Capcom is still coming.

Resident Evil 6 is going to get a new mode called Agent Hunt according to reports over at Andriasang.

Agent Hunt will let players experience survival horror franchise from a different perspective, the details come from this weeks Famitsu this week, which tells us the new mode “Agent Hunt” allows the player to play as a creature out to attack the main characters.

The new mode will be different from the series long running Mercenaries mode, instead the new mode will be integrated into the main game. The mode will unlock when you have cleared the game, then when you start it up again you’ll be able to set an option to open some stages to the Agent Hunt pay mode. What this will allow is other players to play as the creatures in the game at certain stages, Players playing the agents will be alerted to the presence of another player playing as the creatures however they won’t know which one they are controlling.

What can also happen is more players can team up as multiple creatures attack a single player characters and can voice chat to communicate and strategize.

Resident Evil 6 is out October 2nd 2012.
