It has been several months since the fantastic reveal of Sony and Naughty Dog’s next exclusive title for the Playstation 3.

Back in December they premiered the first announcement trailer for The Last of Us, a third-person action-adventure survival game.

The game will start in post-apocalyptic Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and will slowly make its way out of the city to other unknown locations. You will play as Ellie and Joel. Ellie is a 14 year-old girl who is wise beyond her years and Joel is a ruthless survivor who knows how to fight, defend and take deadly action if required.

The trailer depicts the two main characters driving down a highway where they encounter another survivor who isn’t exactly who he seems to be. In the trailer you can see that the character of Ellie has been redesigned to look less like Ellen Page after the original announcement trailer where you can see her character model was highly based on the actress.
