Ben Affleck To Direct Justice League?

Because Matt Damon was always the better Ben Affleck, Ben Affleck quit being Ben Affleck and became Ben Affleck 2: Ben Afflecker, the director. Having pulled through with crime film The Town, Warner Bros are looking to counter the announcement of the Joss Whedon-directed Avengers 2: Avenge Harder (working title) with the surprise move of attaching Ben Affleck(er) to the helm of the upcoming Justice League film.

From Variety:

Thus far, Affleck is the only candidate who’s been sent Will Beall’s JUSTICE LEAGUE script, which the GANGSTER SQUAD scribe was hired to write last summer. DC Comics’ answer to Marvel’s Avengers, JUSTICE LEAGUE is expected to bring together marquee characters Batman and Superman, as well as Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and The Flash. Affleck has made it clear that he’s only interested in directing films in which he also stars — THE TOWN and ARGO are proof of that — so its likely that if this pairing ever came to fruition, he would don a suit of his own.

So, with The Affleckson directing and His Royal Affleck inevitably starring, I’m not sure whether the future of Warner vs Marvel looks bleak or hilariously entertaining.

If I were a car, I'd be a 1978 Mini Cooper Saloon - red, with racing stripes. Why? Because I love drinking petrol and I painted two racing stripes from my nutsack to my forehead, right now, to prove my point. I'm a magician, hypnotherapist and casino poker dealer, which is because I'm an actor, and we make very little money and have to make do. Also, just a side note, "hypnotherapist" just came up with red squiggly lines on spellcheck, which shocks me because a) "hypnotherapy" doesn't and b) I consider this spellcheck as a gauge of future success in life and have found myself heartily disappointed. Ironically, this spellcheck doesn't recognise "spellcheck". This has just created a black hole on the screen on my laptop, so I'll be going now to find something to fill it.
