First Poster: The Last Stand
He’s back in the action-ensemble picture The Expendables 2 but next years The Last Stand sees Mr. Arnold Schwarzenegger return to the leading man role in nearly a decade. And just to whet your visual appetite, here is the first poster.
I think it is safe to say that he’s back. Large pistol in hand, epic, squinty, far-off look in his eye Arnie looks like he means serious business. Which is lucky as The Last Stand sees Arnie playing a small town Sheriff who must stop the leader of a drug cartel and his cronies from escaping via the Mexican border. Sounds like it has all the ingredients for an action-romp.
Schwarzenegger has always been my favourite action hero and I must quickly make it known that I am so pleased he has returned the cinema.
The Last Stand is released on 25th January 2013.
