Oliver Stone is making a very Michael Mann-esque film by the looks of the first full trailer for his sex, drugs and holy-shit-that’s-a-lot-of-violence movie Savages, where the combined character of the entire cast – which we’ll get onto in a bit – is summarised in the one-word title.
Taylor ‘John Carter‘ Kitsch and Aaron ‘Kick-Ass‘ Johnson love Blake ‘Gossip Girl‘ Lively and grow drugs, which Salma ‘Dogma‘ Hayek also does with her henchman Benicio Del ’Wolfman‘ Toro. She bribes federal agent John ‘Grease‘ Travolta to bully Kick-Ass and John Carter into joining forces in business with herself and Wolfman, but when they refuse they kidnap Gossip Girl and hell breaks loose.
There’s a fair bit of violence and drugs and stuff which is cool because of explosions and that’s awesome or something braindead.
