Title Changes For Thor 2 & Captain America 2

Title changes shown at Comic-con shed new light on the story lines for sequels to Thor and Captain America.

First up is Thor: The Darker World, a title which strongly suggests well…darkness. Looks like the sequel will explore the seedier parts of Asgard as opposed to the golden majesty of the first film. I personally don’t know if it is referring to something specific in the Thor mythos but I’m sure there are lots of theories out there on the net.

This title however I do recognise. The Winter Solider is a fairly new Captain America story line in which Cap’s good friend Bucky Barnes (played in the first film by Sebastian Stan) returns as a brainwashed, Russian assassin. There were elements in the first film which hinted at this outcome and so it doesn’t come as too much of a surprise, but it is good news none-the-less.
